Debbie Hughes is the winner of the 2020 Chesley Award for her Unpublished color work:
The Raven, the Wolf and the Maiden.
This exhibit was held from March 1st to the end of September 2020. It was originally going to end in May, but due to Covid all public buildings were closed indefinitely. I was actually worried I would perhaps not see my painting again. After the pandemic subsided in NYC, my painting was returned.
You can still check out all works on line at the NAWA website.
"Seasons of Wither" won an honorable Mention at this show. There were a total of 4 awards.

Debbie's work was featured in the 2020 December issue of Utopia Magazine where she was interviewed by the Editor Tristan Evarts. This is a very in depth interview with many of Debbie's published and unpublished works.
This painting was completed in 2019, it is part of a series of works that Debbie is working on that center on folk tales and myths.
This award was presented on October 24th 2020.
